Advancing bold tales of Africa through a counter-cultureprism, Mostrixx is one of electronica's hottest ambassadors for a continent on the move. Entirely self-taught, he forged his creative path from a very young age watching his mother, a traditional local dancer, and listening to the tapes his truck driver father would bring back from his trips to Kenya.

Now driven by the urge to create his own musical hybrids, he has pioneered ''tribal electronics'', an infectious fresh new sound that weaves regional beats and moods with electronic soundscapes and hypnotic indigenous urban dances.

His latest album ''Mutations'' (May 2023) via Glitterbeat Records, reflects his unique style, influenced by Ugandan heritage, South and East African polyrhythms, modern dancefloor styles like footwork, afro-house or amapiano, Nile basin chants and pan-african field recordings.

2023 saw Mostrixx touring his project with more than 30 dates in 12 different countries
